How To Avoid Heavy Breathing Leading To Asthma During Pregnancy?

Hi,
I am 9 months pregnant and my height is 5'2" and I am 80 kgs now...i have a cold and i am taking steam and drinking hot water for the past 2 days. i have a slight heavy breathing and I am asthmatic. I am concerned if my heavy breathing now is asthma attack and what should i do to curb it right away?

I understand your concern.

If your are experiencing heavy breathing then it may be that the asthma is triggered. Colds are a common trigger factor for asthma.

It can be easily controlled by using inhaled drugs like salmeterol and fluticasone. They can be obtained after prescription. So it is better to visit your physician and have the chest examined. A quick puff of these drugs will help control the symptoms.
