How To Breathlessness During Sleep Caused By A Thick Fluid In The Throat?

i am suffering from cough and taking antibiotics. Taken X Ray and found normal. But during sleep, a thick fluid coming to the throat and blocking air pipe, causing breathing issues. what is this thick fluid, from where it is coming and hot to treat it?

I understand your concern. Thick fluid coming to throat may be the sputum(discharge) from the nose. It is called post nasal drip. This occurs from the nasal mucosa, during times of nasal infections (with bacteria) like 'cold' or 'sinusitis'.

Continue taking antibiotics as your physician prescribed. It will stop within completing the course of antibiotic.

For symptomatic relief, you can try hot water gargling. It will give you the rapid recovery.
