How To Conceive?

Hi iam 27 years of age, recntly married and eager to concieve.My doc instructed to take Lupigest 200 after ovulation from 17th day i.e., 24.09.2012 & My follicle size was 21.5 mm. Please tell me why these tablets are used?? is any chances of my pregnancy next month.

Hi,

Usually ovulation is expected in 24 to 36 hours after the ovum reaches 20 mm size. By having unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation the possibility of pregnancy can be increased. Lupigest contains natural micronized progesterone, which is used in the second half of the menstrual cycle, so in case of conception, that can protect and maintain the possible pregnancy.

After using the tablets if you miss your expected date of periods, please go for a urine or preferably blood test for pregnancy. Serum beta HCG levels of more than 5 mIU/mL indicates the possibility of pregnancy.
