My name is Crystal, I m a 16 year old girl. i lost my virginity April 28 of this year to my best friend and crush of 13 years. I believe I am pregnant with his baby. I have been having symptoms , And my stomach has been rounding with weight gain. i haven t taken a pregnancy test and i m scared for my baby s life if I tell my parents. I m scared to death they will force me to get an abortion. i don t believe my child should pay for MY mistake. but i wanted to go to collage after high school and be a pediatric nurse if you have ANY advice PLEASE let me know.

Hi..you can check whether you are pregnant or not by a simple urine pregnancy test kit done by yourself at home..double line on the kit would indicate positive result.. You are just 16..in general we don't suggest pregnancy during teenage not at least before 18 years..as this young age poses a number of risks both to mother as well as child..( including spontaneous abortion, gestational hypertension, anemia, growth retardation, premature delivery, intrauterine death, low birth weight etc etc).. so continuing pregnancy is much more risky both for you as well as for your baby..and termination before 20 weeks is totally legal..rest depends on your personal circumstances..
