How To Confirm Pregnancy?

helo doctor ,
i m 26 .and i had 2 abortions. i got my period in every 27 days..my lmp was 25 june 2011,and today i had the home pregnancy test but it was negative.is it mean that m not pregnant ???????or i have to wait for 2 -3 days..plz help me..i m very worried about it.

Hello,
I can understand your anxiety and concern very well...
First of all, get relaxed and don't get stressed much...pregnancy test might be very lightly positive in initial days and can not be detected, so you need to wait for few more days and then repeat the test...
You can also go for ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy....if pregnancy is ruled out, then you need to consult a gynec to screen for other causes of delayed period and get treatment for that...
