How To Confirm Pregnancy?
Why do physicians, specifically OBs, refuse to recognize that Cryptic Pregnancies exist? There are MANY cases of women who have negative tests, including ultrasounds, who KNOW they are pregnant but the doctors REFUSE to listen to them. Then they are forced to go through the entire pregnancy with out prenatal care and often deliver at home without assistance.

- Cryptic pregnancy is a condition where is woman is not aware of pregnancy till she gets labor pain. The cause may be, she has conceived while breast feeding,/ she is on medicines for over weight/ she is taking treatment for PCOD.
- In to days era of modern medicine- it's definite to diagnose pregnancy if the lady visits a doctor, specially OBs.-& then the case is no longer a cryptic pregnancy. As might be your experience, a singular doctor in remote place,(with no modern facilities for diagnosis available)might have responded so. But then it's a personal error.
- Pregnancy can be confirmed by-
- Blood HCG test around expected date of menses( before it's missed)
- Urine pregnancy test after 8-10 days of delayed period,
- by sonography at 1.5 months of pregnancy.
- by physical examination by a OBs.
- Even the lady is not aware, she can feel fetal movements at 6 months pregnancy.
- Increasing size of abdomen should be noted by any lady.
