hi doc.. i m 22 years old i do pregnancy test nov. 23 after missing my periods then me and my husband decided to abortion. i take abortion pills 1 week before.. today i do again pregnancy test it show faint line in test. what it means whether my abortion is complete are not plz rply me

Hi,
It takes upto 3 weeks after the abortion process for the pregnancy test to become negative. So repeat the test after two weeks and then see a gynaecologist if its still positive after 3 weeks of the abortion process.

the test can take 1 to 4 weeks to become negative after termination of pregnancy. Also you must use condom to prevent pregnancy during this period so that new pregnany does not interfere with the current condition. Repea the test every week till it is negative.
