Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My BP is high 179/85 but my heart beat is too slow so my dosage has been changed to 25mg twice a day. I was getting dizzy and nauseated so the dosage was changed. It does not seem to help my bp so I would like to quit it altogether. I am 73 female and except for the BP in good health .
Hi! I had gone through your query and understand your concern. In order to help you I need to know what medications are you taking to control your blood pressure. If you are taking only one medication that can be a b-blocker like Atenolol or another drug of this class I would suggest so add another drug in your treatment in order to control your blood pressure. I need to know what are you taking to treat your high BP and than I can tell what medication you need to add to your treatment.
Waiting for your answer. Take care. Dr.Rovena
