Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM.

You seems to be suffering from Telogen effluvium. Telogen is the resting phase of hair cycle and the hair is usually shed in telogen(exogen). It can happen after any major stressor like Illness, Surgery or any other form of major stress like loss of a family member etc. The phase usually begins after 2-3 months of the major stressful event and can continue for 3-6 months

Telogen effluvium usually recovers in about 6-9 months. The main aim is to have a wholesome diet specially that is rich in proteins and also contains adequate amounts of other nutrients, minerals, vitamins etc.

I usually prescribe an Iron supplement and Biotin supplement to my patients of telogen effluvium.

take care
regards
