How To Control Sexual Feelings?

Hi, its Rani from India. My problem is that I have a boyfriend who is staying at another city and in his absence I have been involved in sex with one of my friends. I discussed the matter with my boyfriend, he scolded me like anything & later on gave me a chance to rectify myself. Recently, I have again committed the same mistake and this time I did not disclose the matter to my guy...I feel myself to be the worst person on the earth, I feel guilty and at the same time I am unable to control my desires, what to do?Please please help!

Hello,

You should know that it is totally normal to think about sex. Sexual feelings are natural. Sex drive and their levels can vary from person to person. A relationship works best when the libido of both partners are compatible and are in harmony.

Sex is an enjoyable activity between consenting adults. But when you are in a serious relationship with your man then you should avoid indulging in sex in his absence with other men. It is wrong. Your relationship may break. You have a high libido so it is best for you to stay with your partner and not away from him. High libido is when one has no control over their sexual desires and it can be a problem.

Avoid watching porn movies or anything that may stimulate you. Go for a daily jog or try to play a daily sport to help consume your extra energy so that you focus on other things. Gardening, listening to good music, reading a quality novel will help you to keep yourself engaged and happy. Engage in sex with your partner and tell him to bring you to orgasm properly so that you are satiated and don't keep craving for it.

Sometimes, when a person is not satiated after finishing the entire activity will cause him / her to indulge in sex with others. You can talk with your partner and also meet a Councilor. Try to focus on your partner and remain fiddle to him. Stay away from addictions if any. Indulging in sex with many partners may make you prone to sexually transmitted diseases. Avoid multiple partners.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
