How To Cure A Large Lump On Top Of The Head?

My husband has a large lump (knot) about the size of a quarter on the top of his head. It is hard and odd shaped. Only 3 weeks ago it was the size of a pea. There are now two or three of them surrounding this one. The knot does not move and is not soft to touch. There is no pain associated with the lump. My concern is how rapidly it is growing and the fact that numerous ones a popping up around it.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

It is necessary for performing some tests in order to investigate for the nature of these lesions : inflammatory, lymph nodes, bone islands, etc.

For this reason, I would recommend consulting with his attending physician for a physical exam, a scull X ray study and some blood lab tests (vitamin D levels, blood electrolytes, complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
