i have a hard spot/lump on my ear which is sore to the touch, since having this i have also had quite bad ear ache.. i dotn know if they are linked but they both came about at the same time, the lump is very hard and within the 'coves' of my ear, and ideaS?

Hi. Appears that you have a furuncle of the ear canal skin. These appear as a swelling/ lump with severe pain in the external ear. Clinical examination confirms the diagnosis and helps in management.
