hello a week ago i got punched right under my eye on the left cheekbone, that area swelled up like a big lump and my eye went bruised. it only hurt when i smiled the first few days and after only when i touched the lump. The swelling has gotten better and my bruise on the eye is going away but I still have a round hard lump right on my cheek bone that is not going away. what should i do?
I can understand your concern for bruise over eye and cheek after injury.
IN most of the cases bruise caused by injury gets alright in 14 days of period. In his time the swelling reduces in first week and simultaneously the color changes from blue t black then green and lastly yellowish before fading.
If I were your treating dermatologist then would have prescribed you a tablet containing chymotrypsin and a cream containing heparin for early healing. You can take a pain killer tablet such as paracetamol for pain.
All the best.
