How To Cure Burned Arm After Electrical Shock?

I just got electrocuted for like 2 seconds from an outlet. My arm feels tingly and my head feels kind of heavy and there was a little burn on my wrist from after i got shocked. I put ice on the burn. I was just wondering how long this will last and if i should do anything or just leave it.

Hi,

I would recommend you to apply a topical antibiotic like Neosporin ointment on the affected area as it will take around 10 days to resolve.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, Dermatologist
