How To Cure Choking Of Throat After Eating Grape ?
I was choking on a grape earlier and after it went down, my throat started closing up and eventually I started spitting up clear, sticky, slimy saliva. I feel better now but it was hard to breath and it lasted over twenty minutes, why did this happen?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have choking of throat after eating grape. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like foreign body entrapment, acid reflux, lump in throat and problems related to respiratory system as there are chances that grape would have lodged in windpipe and causing obstruction. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test and examination with fiberoptic scan. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( amoxicillin ) , anti inflammatory medications and can perform minor surgical removal. For now avoid eating solid and hard food . Also avoid acidic food and beverages.
Hope your query has been resolved.
