How To Cure Cramps At The Mid Chest And Breathlessness?
My 8 year old son plays many sports and gives them his all recently when he plays soccer he sometimes says he gets a cramp in the middle of his chest it does not last long and his breathing is not any different when he complains of this. Any ideas as to what may be causing this? Again he plays basketball and swims a lot but never has this problem?
I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem. Usually no heart issue is expected in this age with a child who has this much physical activity, if there were a problem it would have been felt much earlier by your child.
I believe he is fine he might be having muscular pain specially swimming can cause pain in center of the chest. I would suggest you to keep a check at his food intake and salt replacement during physical activity which are important.
I hope this answered your question, if you have more queries I am happy to answer you.
Regards, Dr. Muhammad Ahmad
