I had gone through your question and understand your concerns ..
I think you may avoid
overweight , heavy lifting , vigorous movements ,use pain killers like
advil pills when needed , B12 supplements , hot massages with topical gels , avoid bending your legs , bad sitting or sleeping postures and wear a knee support will be effective .
If pain persists i suggest X rays and
MRI for proper evaluation and management .
