Hi..i have period disorder more than 5 years ..i start using progyluton for 3 moth.but after the third moth.the bleeding did not stop so i start to taken it all over again ,so I need to know what should I do keep using progyluton for another 3 moth.because I want to get pregnant soon ..Thank you
Hi, If you have had menstrual irregularities for so long, you should get investigated properly and get treated straight away, as otherwise, it could be difficult to conceive. Please remember, taking a progesterone supplement to ward of a menstrual problem for the time being is not the permanent solution here. Your ovulation status should be established and any hormonal defects corrected, so is a tubal patency test done and a trans-vaginal sonogram. Your partner also needs to be assessed as part of the process. Please get help from a specialist for further management. Hope this helps.
