How To Cure Pain On Left Cheek Due To An Accident?

On Christmas Eve I fell diown my stairs. I landed hard on my rear ean. I had a huge bruise on my left cheek for several days which is now gone but I have a very distinct pain deep (feels like on the bone) in my left cheeck. It s not in the center like tail bone but to the left side. It hurts to sit, squat, etc. What bone could be affected? Could I have broken something?

Hi,
Judging from the location of the pain I think you have sustained an injury to a bone called ischial tuberosity and this is a bone which is very hard to fracture. There is a possibility of a deep contusion and this takes time to resolve. However just to be on the safe side please consult an orthopaedician and get an Xray done to confirm that there are no fracture. Please go easy on painkillers as they might cause side effects like acidity. Avoid massaging as that could make an already injured area worse. Apply alternate hot and cold packs if possible and some pain sprays like volini. Hope this helps.
