I fell off a small ladder in August and broke my arm - since then I now (previously very healthy) have high blood pressure and a recent urine test detected protein in the urine - could I have damaged kidney due to fall? could this be related in any way
Hi The protein in the urine may be due to the high blood pressure. There is a rare condition whereby blood clot can form around the kidney due to injury and cause high blood pressure, but it usually takes many years to develop. Please get an ultrasound of kidneys done and also see a physicial to get the blood pressure under control.
