my son (35) was in hospital with pulmonary thromboses. he wonders if it may be genetic. neither my wife or i have any history of similar condition, but her father and my father both had strokes. is there a test that might point out recessive genetic traits?
Yes. I suggest u do blood coagulation studies. If there is a prob which ll make the blood hypercoagulable then it can be genetic and there is a high probability he gets thrombus
