How To Cure Red Spot On The Inside Of The Eyelid?
Hi, I have a horrible sore red spot on the inside of my left eyelid. It has been there for all most a week. I washed my hair in the shower last Wednesday and soap got in my eye. Now my entire lower eyelid is extremely imflamed, it even hurts to hold my head down. There is a small lump down inside close to the tear duct, but there is no head on it , the whole inside of the eyelid is just really red and painful. What should I do?

Hello,
Looks like youhave developed an internal hordeolum(internal stye). Treatment is warm compresses for 10 minutes, thrice a day alond with analgesic-antiinflammatory such as Tablet Ibugesic plus, 1 tablet twice a day for 2-3 days. It subsides with this treatment within 4-5 days. In case it persists or worsens then it is better to take a short course of oral antibiotics from your GP.
