How To Cure Redness, Swelling And Itching After Mosquito Bite?

i got a few mosquito bites 4 days ago. The swelling area became very big, red and itchy. My friends got bit as well but they did not react so badly to the insects. Today again in the evening i got a few mosquito bites while outside. Again the swelling area is about 6inches in diameter. Its very itchy n is killing me. what shud i take?

As per your complain it seems that you have got a moderate to severe allergic reaction to mosquito bites and it has led to redness, swelling and itching..
You should take anti-allergics like Levocetrizine or benadryl for relief..
You can also take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen..
Apply Steroid based ointment over the bumps..
Do cool compresses over the bumps..
You can also apply calamine lotion to soothe the skin..

In case if the symptoms does not improve consult an Allergist and get evaluated and he can do a clinical examination and advise you accordingly..
Injectable anti allergics and steroids can be advised..
