How To Cure Severe Cold And Cough For A 3 Years Old Child, On Levolin Syrup 3ml With No Relief

Hello Doctor,

My 3 yr old daughther has severe cough and cold. As she doesn't have any fever doctor prescribed to take only levolin syrup 3ml thrice a day. This the 3rd day and we can't see any result. Can you please let me know should i wait or try any other syrup? We have also tried ambrolite syrup, but it increased tbe cough.

I can understand your concern but here you need to be very patience, if the kid does not have fever then it is not to worry, the cough will go away but may take little more time, it does not required any treatment, try some pure honey, 20 ml at bed time will give good symptomatic response, have nice day.
