How To Cure Sharp Pain In Ankle And Cramps After Being Bit By Rattlesnake?
Think I was bit by a rattlesnake 3 days ago, (sharp pain in my ankle, 2 punchure wonds, & a snake was found & killed at the ranch I was at about 45 feet away from where I was walking around. My ankle did swell a bit, and my leg has been cramping but the bite area in no longer swolen and there is no pain. do I need to see a doctor or could this just be my lucky day?

This is may not be rattlesnake bite because this is highly poisonous snake having hemotoxic venom with the neurotoxic component, after the bite internal bleeding start with intense pain and huge swelling person can die if immediate antivenom is not given in time, often the stung part become gangrenous even if victim survive and the gangrenous part need to be amputated, so this may not be snake bite but could be any other insect, keep the leg in elevated position and can start the following medicines, clean the area with tap water and antiseptic lotion,
1) Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times
2) Tab Amoxicillin with Clavulanic acid twice in day

HI...I suggest you need to see doctor immediately. It might be your lucky day, but you need to be examined properly by a physician. You might require a tetanus toxoid injection and even admitted for observation for 24-48 hours in the hospital.
