Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
the area below my left knee is what i would describe as dead. i think this feeling commenced when i had a post operative stroke 5 years ago. i have played a lot of golf throughout my life. i am 74 years old. is there anything i can do to combat this feeling i have below my knee ?
The loss of sensitivity could be related to the stroke. Anyway, I would recommend trying gabapentine to help improve this feeling, although I don't think that it will make miracles.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
