Hello I ve been having problems with my ears since 2012. Been on a lot of meds. They work for the moment but the infection comes back. I just took a cotton ball out of my ear and there was blood on it not much but concerned itches like crazy sometimes and sore.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurring ear infections which could be due to ear wax accumulation, TMJ problems, ear drum injury or perforation. I would suggest you not to panic about this. You should go for culture and sensitivity test of ear discharge to know about specific bacteria. you should start with proper antibiotic for that particular bacterial. For ear infection you can use ciplox or gatiflox ear drops for local application. You should take syrup gelusil-plus every 4-6 hours for better relief of your symptoms. If ear infection attacks are more than 3-4 per year then you should visit ENT specialist once as it may cause permanent hear loss, facial palsy, delayed speech development. Surgery is the treatment option in that case.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
