Everything have to mashed maybe with a little chunks on the food but if there is a large piece his going to choke and then vomit. He does eat crackers, cookies but never a piese of cheese and fruit or vegetable. I remember when he was a baby he did have a sucking problems too, he was burping a lot and I think that he have a acid reflex but one of the pediatrician told me that he have a tongue tie nothing severe but she say that somethime latter in his life he would have a speech problem and now he does he doesn't speak eather...I'm so desperate I try everything and I don't know what else to do.PLS Help Me
Hi, thanks for asking. I can understand your concerns. For his feeding I would like to suggest oro motor stimulation program which will help him to chew and tolerate solid foods better. He is 20 months old and does not speak. So he has speech delay. How is his non verbal communication? Does he point towards things? Does he like social interaction? I would suggest you see a developmental paediatrician to check his developmental level. I hope I have helped you. Thank you.
