Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My bones seem to ache, especially if there is any pressure on them. I wake up through out the night unable to move sometimes as it is extremely painful. I'm 27 year old female and it started with my thigh bones aching but has now moved to my shoulders and upper arms.
The level of pain you are having in your bones is very worrisome. If you were my patient, I would want to know what is causing it before I recommend any treatment. You could take pain medicines such as ibuprofen to help with the pain while you are getting an evaluation. You need to have blood tests and xrays to figure out what is happening. Bone pain can occur with serious conditions such as bone marrow disease, cancer, leukemia, and problems with certain glands such as the parathyroid. I recommend you see your doctor as soon as possible to start the work up for a cause. Your doctor can then prescribe stronger pain medicine if the ibuprofen doesn't help.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
