How To Detect Pregnancy?

hi,

i have been on birthcontrol, for almost a year now, and just last week i got a antibotic from my doctor.

well i had sex about three days later and didnt realize til a week later after having sex that the antibotic could effect my birthcontrol. could i be pregnant?

Some antibiotics decrease the contraceptive efficacy of the oral contraceptives or the birth control pills.Whether the birth control was effective or not, depends upon the type of antibiotics used.
Hence, there is a possibility of pregnancy in your case.
I will suggest you to get an urine pregnancy test done, if your periods are delayed, to confirm the diagnosis and get appropriate treatment timely.
