Hi, I am trying to come across sites that talk about hepatic artery stenosis, the causes of it and how it is surgically treated. I was diagnosed with MALS years ago and over time, due to misdiagnosis , surgery was pushed back. I just got my results from the abdominal utlrasound done Monday and it shows the hepatic, splenic and superior mesentaric arteries, significantly stenosed. I had a botched bariatric reversal/revision surgery back in 2008 and damage was done in surgery, which looks like from the Cath Lab procedure done on the arteries in 2010, that the surgery nicked the celiac artery and tried to patch it up in surgery. My aorta and celiac arteries look like they are improving while the other arteries are getting worse. If damage was done to the celiac artery in surgery, would that explain why the other 2 have improved and the other 3 have not? Melody. I am 29 years old. Thank you for your help. Need deperate answer
