How To Determine If Infected With HIV After Being Accidentally Pricked?

In school, a girl fooling around pricked me with a sharp object (not a pin). She claims she hadn't pricked anyone before or after me. My buttocks had a small red dot without blood and I had a small pimple kind of bump on it. Is this bump normal and can I have HIV if she's lying?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

I would like to know your age to assess the age group you belong to. If it is primary school children the question of HIV arises rarely. Even otherwise this prick could not be an intentional one.Just playful activity. HIV transmission is unlikely. How many days back you had the prick? Sometimes a dermoid cyst may likely to develop at the site of a prick. This has no relation with HIV. I don't think that you have any risk for HIV infection through this prick caused by your friend.
