I went to a dermatologist last week for this sores I keep scratching causing them not to heal. The doctor gave me Triamcinolone Acetonide. A visiting nurse was at my house today for my husband and told me I have Impetagio. I thought she was nuts. My dermatologist told me it was an ezcema. I am just afraid that I could spread this to my husband who has COPD. I thought impetagio was a blister and round. My sores never had fluid in themm
Eczema is dry skin with itching and oozing, whereas impetigo will be painful with pus discharge. Get ESR test done and take a second opinion from another dermatologist before planning for next session of Triamcinolone drug.
