How To Discontinue Premarin Drug In The Elderly?

I have been on premerin 1.25 for twenty five years and want to get off of it. What is the best way to do this without going crazy with anxiety? I had a complete hysterectomy including ovaries. I am seventy years old. Have always been hormone sensitive.

Hello,

It is not hard to come out of the anxiety, it is not hard to stop taking the drug. The only thing is needed is your self-confidence, a positive attitude, and you can do this.

Be positive and practical, increase your self-esteem, initially you may experience some difficulties if stop taking the drug but once tolerate it everything will be alright

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Akhtarhusain, General & Family Physician
