60 year old female history HBP and elevated cholesterol. Lost 25 pounds, blood work excellent, daily monitoring of BP prompted MD to take me off benaprizil 5mg. At start of dieting was on 10mg. Still taking teneretic one half dose of the 50/12.5 per MD. Ht. 5.4. Otherwise in excellent health. Do I need to taper down the benaprizil or just go cold turkey?

Hello,
Although you can quit it cold turkey but the best would be to take the half dose for couple of weeks and then quit it to avoid any possible ill effect.
Thanks
