My 11 year old daughter just started her period 3 days ago. She didn't tell me though, but I saw that she was using my panty liners and pads. I asked her did she and at first she said no. This morning while emptying the garbage I noticed toilet paper with blood on it so I woke her up and asked her again, and she said yes. I asked her why she did not tell me and she said that she was embarassed. I go a little sad and started crying. I told her that she should have told me so that we could talk about it. To her it is no big deal obviously she knew what to do from seeing and asking me about pads when she was younger. Now how do I futher the discussion to make her more comfortable?
