Dear all, i m 22 yr. old. and i have problem of very low hair growth on full body and face. i leastned this is hormone unbalancing problm. so now i want to treat this problm. how it is costly .? and after how much times this problm will completely solve..?? pls. suggest me .. i m from India ahmedabad.
I am assuming here that you are a 22 years male having problem of decreased hair growth over face and body. At 22 years, it is definitely abnormal. This could be a sign of testosterone deficiency.
In very simple words, this can either due a defect at the level of hypothalamus-pituitary region or at the level of testes.
To ascertain the exact cause, a thorough history and physical exam is necessary, with relevant investigations.
Testosterone deficieny is usually readily treatable with testosterone injections. So you should see an Endocrinologist as early as possible and get yourself evaluated.
