Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

1) If you have miscarriage in very early weeks of pregnancy, then product of conception can be evacuated by abortion pills under the guidance of gynecologist. He/ she will prescribe those medicine, give direction of using and it will be helpful in emergency situation also.

2) You may need double dose sometimes if proper bleeding DOESN'T start within 72 hrs. Soon after taking those medicinel, abdominal cramp and vaginal bleeding will start within 7 days and next period may be earlier/delayed.

3) Post pill abortion, you must do a USG lower abdomen to check retained bits/ conceptional products if any and may need D &C to complete abortion.

4) Practice safe sex by using safe period/OCP/ other methods to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
