How To Gain Weight While Suffering From IBS?

Good Morning Doctor, Well I am IBS patient although I controlling my daily food eating habit but do not getting that much good result because I am very thin person and feeling weak and I always feeling irritation at my lower abdomen.
I am 39 years old and height is 177 cm and weight is 48 kg.
I would be very grateful if you suggest me how to gain weight keep myself healthy.

Hello and thank you for your question.
The only way to gain weight is to increase the calories that you are taking in on a daily basis. You must first find foods that do not make your IBS symptoms worse then eat more of those. A balance of carbohydrates, fats and proteins is healthy but fats have the highest density of calories. Just make sure you avoid fast food, processed food and food with additives to stay as healthy as possible.
