Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. You should rule out any malabsorption syndrome by doing stool routine test. Deworming by drugs like albendazole should be done yearly once. If malabsorption syndrome is there it should be managed also. Antibiotics like metronidazole is prescribed for this also. Anemia should be ruled out by testing hemoglobin level in blood. If that is low then iron supplements should be taken also.
You can include nuts like almond, hazzelnut, ground nut. If you take milk then you can use milk products like cheese or cottage cheese like paneer, curd etc. Get proper exercise which will help you weight gain also. For females using contraceptive pills judiciously also helps in weight gain.
Hope this may help you.Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
