How To Get Baby Engaged At Third Trimester?

Hi Doc, I am 40 week pregnant and completed my 9th Month today. My due date is 11th January. This is my first pregnancy and baby is not engaged yet.Rest of the things such as Blood pressue, Sugar, HB everything is normal. I am active through out my pregnancy and go for walk for almost 1.5 hrs everyday. I am doing yoga and sqautting for 30 mins everyday.Can you pls suggest something to bring my baby head down and is there something to worry about. I would want a normal delivery but since baby is not yet engaged. Pls suggest.

thank you for your query.....
since you are 40wks pregnant it was expected to have your delivery by now...but in primi patients, this doesnot always happen...till 42wks normal delivery can occur...even if the delivery doesnot happen, an USG is advised and depending on the reports, induction of labour is done normally....a c-section can be done in case of non-engaged babies and on some more criterias...
however dont worry...it is expected that you will have your delivery in the next two weeks normally if all the parameters remain ok...
