How To Get My Periods As Duphaston Didn't Work?

Hi my Gynae gave me duphaston to drink to bring on my period. She said I have to drink one a day for 10 days,then she said you should count about 8-10 days and that's when your period will follow. Its now my 9th Day and nothing so far. My husband and I are also ttc but I need to have a period first for that to happen. Pls can u give some advice.
