Hi I was been diagonsed for Keratoconus whenI was 14 years old, later I was suggested to wear RGP lenses to correct my vision. But as time changed I was not able to wear RGP lenses. My eyes were rejecting lenses(Right eye to be specific). So I went for C3R for left eye and C3R+Intac for rigth eye at the age of 22, but after surgery nothing changed still I have the same problem even my vision remains almost same as it was before surgery.
I am totally disappointed with the outcomes of the surgery its been 1 year now after surgery. I am worried about my future that how to lead life with these eyes.
Is there anything that can be done in my case so that I can get normal vision. I will be happy to wear spectacles instead of lenses to get the normal vision.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having advanced keratoconus and you have been treated with contact lenses, C3R, Intacs... Since you have tried all forms of treatment the next option remaining is keratoplasty. This will be done if your vision is severely affected. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor and discuss with him regarding this treatment.
Thank you
