How To Get Relief From Sore Right Elbow? No Relief With Ibrufen
Hi I have a very sore right elbow - was doing a lot of garden repetitive work and difficult work in house renovation. It is not swelled or marked to my knowledge but very sore at the right bone off centre of elbow - don't know name of this bone. I have taken some ibrufen but it didn't ease it and I rubbed "Tigar balm" on it. I am unable to get it better as I need it's use.
Thank you

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Saurabh Gupta's Response
Hello, Thanks for your query. The pains that you have described are likely to be due to a muscular spasm. Taking mild pain killers and muscle relaxants will bring a short term relief. Regular stretching exercise will be helpful. you can do a hot fomentation and apply a local analgesic gel on the area to relieve the spasm. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
