Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I understand from your query that you have pigmentation on your nose which you would like to lighten.
The pigmentation that you are having is called as post inflammatory
hyperpigmentation. In some cases, if the inflammation was deep, the pigmentation may also be deep and this is difficult to completely get rid of.
You need to use a good sunscreen every 4 hours as sunlight can worsen any kind of pigmentation on the face.
You could use a cream containing 2%
Kojic acid at bedtime.
You could benefit from spot TCA peels. TCA is
trichloroacetic acid which is an agent which causes sloughing off the superficial part of the
epidermis, slowly lightening the pigmented area. Please consult a good
dermatologist for this as it requires expertise to prevent complications.
You could also try Q-switched Nd-Yag laser which will help to lighten the marks.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
