How To Get Rid Of Bruise-like Discoloration On The Bridge Of Nose?
Hi, I ve had a shadow/bruise-like discoloration across the bridge of my nose for as long as I can remember. I ve read up on it a bit and I think it s just a normal part of my skin. My reasoning is that I m fairly thin and pale, which brings the blueness of blood vessels on my nose to prominence. But my question is, is there any way to get rid of it? I don t want to have to put concealer on it every day. Thanks.
Hi. As per your case history you are having dermal hyperpigmentation on nasal bridge. My treatment advice is - 1. It cannot be completely resolved, but you can get around 80-90% results in 3 months. 2. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30. 3. Apply a kojic acid cream like kojivit twice daily on affected skin. 4. Other treatment options are topical hydroquinone, chemical peeling done by dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
