Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

As per your case history of head lice, my treatment advice is:

1. Avoid hair oil application for 15 days.
2. Apply a permethrin 5 percent lotion once a week for 15 days.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days.
4. Other treatment options are Oral Ivermectin and Crotamiton lotion given only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
