How To Get Rid Of Hyper Pigmentation?

I am of African descent and recently used Dr. Scholls corn remover on all toes except my big and small toes. The result is that the corns are still very much there, and I have definitely used according to instructions, but to add insult to injury, they are extremely darker. How do I get rid of this atrocious hyper-pigmentation?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have hyper-pigmentation which occurs because of increased melanin production by melanocytes. I would suggest you to :-

- Wash the affected area twice a a day and exfoliate once a week .

- Apply betnovate cream twice daily.

- Apply broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 15 while going outside , so that UV rays will not damage the skin further .

- Apply vitamin E oil at night.

I condition doesn't get better in one month then consult dermatologist. Doctor may recommend procedure like microneedling or chemical peeling depending upon your condition.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
