How To Get Rid Of Itchy, Sore And Red Vagina?
Hi I have a problem in the vaginal area where I have constant itching and it s really sore and red around the labia area. Wondering if I can use fucibet down there as the itching is driving me mad as the more it itches the worse it seems to become. I have bee prescribed fucibet by the dr just want to be clear where I can put this on the vaginal area ie. outside or in as not sure where is safe. I m 27 and do suffer with numerous health problems from; asthma, fibromyalgia, rheumatic arthritis an ibs and don t want to flare up the other conditions. Also how long can I use the cream for as can t remember what the dr said. Please help.

The commonest causes for immense vaginal itching are Trichomonal vaginitis and Monalial (fungal or yeast) vaginitis. These vaginal infections are associated with white vaginal discharge. If you are having any vaginal discharge, please have a look at it. Trichomonal vaginal discharge is free flowing frothy greenish white discharge which can be treated by Metronidazole. Fungal vaginal discharge is white flaky discharge and can be treated by antifungal creams.
Fucibet cream contains two active ingredients, betamethasone and fusidic acid. Betamethazone will give you relief from the itching which is not associated with any other infection. Fusidic acid is an antibiotic which will take care of bacterial infection. However, if you have fungal infection, it will worsen by this cream. Instead if you use Quadriderm ointment with antifungal cream, it can take care of both. In addition, have Metronidazole tablets.
To have better relief, please use some Lacobacilli vaginal ovules. Lactacyd perineal wash is very good to achieve normal pH.
Please get the diagnosis of the lesion confirmed from a Gynaecologist before starting any empirical treatment.
