How To Get Rid Of Morning Sickness And Throat Pain During Pregnancy?

I am about 10 weeks pregnant. I cannot stop coughing which is making my throat/neck painful to swallow. I have morning sickness with some vomiting still which isn't helping the coughing. And now it burns when I urinate! Geez.... And of course this starts on friday night when my doctor's office is closed.

Hello dear,i understand your concern. In my opinion sickness is routinely seen in 1 st trimester of pregnancy. It can be stopped by taking antiemetics.Cough if it is productive with altered sputum then it needs to be evaluated to rule out any infection. If cough is dry it might be allergic related.Dont worry. It wi'll subside.Avoid chill items and take lukewarm water. And do warm salt water gargling.Relax.It will subside.Take adequate fluids upto 3 litres per day and cranberry juice to prevent urinary infection and burning.
Best regards...Dr.Srilatha
